TERMS & CONDITIONS
Updated: 8 September 2023
-
Deposits are non refundable and must be paid to secure a booking.
The minimum deposit is $100, however, some artists have a minimum $200 deposit.
For full day bookings, a minimum deposit of $400 is required.
Further terms and conditions for full day bookings are outlined below.
Deposits are credited towards the final cost of your tattoo.
-
Once a date and time has been agreed to, we will hold the appointment for 24 hours, to allow you time to pay the deposit.
If we do not receive a deposit within 24 hours, the appointment time will be released, unless another time frame has been communicated andagreed to by the artist/studio.
-
We require 48 hours notice should you wish to reschedule. If less than 48 hours notice is received, your deposit will be forfeited.
Please note that you can only reschedule your appointment once. Any further reschedules will require a new deposit.
If a booking is made less than 48 hours of the appointment time, the deposit will be forfeited in the event of a reschedule or cancellation.
-
Cancellations will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
-
If an artist has began preparing the design for your tattoo, and you change your mind resulting in a completely different design being required, your deposit will be forfeited; and will be taken as a drawing fee.
A new deposit will need to be paid if you wish to keep your appointment.
An example where this may occur is, if say, you booked in for an eagle tattoo, but then decided you wanted a snake and the artist had already begun designing the eagle.
This does not apply to minor tweaks or adjustments to a design. It only applies to a complete change of idea or where changes requested are significant because they did not conform with the original design brief provided by you.
-
Our artists often see multiple clients a day.
If a client is late to their appointment by more than 30 mins, without providing adequate notice of their tardiness, the deposit may be forfeited.
We do our best to be on time. However, if your artist is running behind schedule, we will make every endeavour to notify you as soon as we possibly can.
-
Repeated failures to pay a deposit on time
Clients who have a history of failing to pay their deposit on time, will have to pay a deposit before an appointment time/date is confirmed.
Repeated no-shows or cancellations
Clients who have a history of no shows, repeated reschedules or cancellations will be required to pay in full, in advance, to secure any booking. The payment must be made before an appointment time/date is confirmed.
We may exercise our right to deny service to anyone who has repeatedly failed to pay their deposits in a timely manner and/or has a history of no shows, repeated reschedules or cancellations.
Minors
We do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18.
As most bookings are made online, we rely on your honesty and will assume you are of age when making a booking.
If you arrive at your appointment, and upon checking your ID, we find that you are under the age of 18, we will refuse service and your deposit will be forfeited.
-
If upon arriving to your appointment, and we find your skin is not in a condition that is safe for tattooing, we may choose to reschedule your appointment and forfeit your deposit.
These conditions include (but are not limited to):
* Sunburn
* Rashes, cuts and bruises
* Acne, eczema and psorias flare ups
* Allergic reactions
Clients who apply numbing cream without notifying their artist before the appointment of their intention to do so, may result in having their appointment rescheduled and the deposit forfeited.
-
Your artist has committed a full day to you, meaning that they have not accepted other clients for that day. Accordingly, please note the terms & conditions relevant to full day bookings below. These terms & conditions are in addition to those stated above.
For consecutive day bookings, a full day deposit will be required for each day booked. For example, if 2 consecutive days are booked, a total $800 deposit will be required.
Punctuality
If a client is late to their appointment by an hour or more, $200 of the deposit will be forfeited.
Changes to design
If within 72 hours of the appointment, you communicate a change of tattoo which results in no longer requiring a full day booking, $200 of your deposit will be forfeited.
-
Our artists are also human and are also prone to emergencies and illnesses.
We respect your time and business, and will always provide clients as much notice as possible in the event our artists need to reschedule their appointment.
If an appointment cannot be rescheduled, we are happy to refund your deposit.
Our terms & conditions are subject to change at anytime without notice. If you wish to be updated of any material changes to our terms & conditions, please let us know.
-
When a deposit is requested, all clients are instructed to read and familiarise themselves with our terms & conditions before paying the deposit.
By paying the deposit, we will deem that you have read and accepted our terms & conditions.
-
Gift vouchers must be redeemed within three (3) years of the issue date and must be redeemed by the recipient named on the gift voucher. Gift vouchers cannot be transferred to another person or entity.
Gift vouchers are non refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
